Chlorinated Polypropylene Resin Has Good Adhesion And Is Non-toxic
Leave a message
A polar thermoplastic resin with chlorine atoms introduced into the polypropylene molecular chain. Chlorine 20%-40% is low chlorination degree, chlorine 63%-67% is high chlorination degree. All are white powders or granules, but colorless after film formation. Melting point <150℃ (the one with chlorine content of 30% has the lowest melting point), and decomposes at 180-190℃. Insoluble in ethanol and paraffin hydrocarbons, soluble in aromatic hydrocarbons, esters and ketones. Oil resistance, heat resistance, light resistance; can resist the corrosion of strong oxidizing acid and alkali, CPP film can be immersed in 10% caustic soda solution or 10% nitric acid for 144 hours without swelling. Good compatibility with most resins such as coumarone resin, petroleum resin, phenolic resin, alkyd resin, coal tar resin, turpentine, etc. It can be used as adhesive for bonding plastic and metal, paint vehicle, paper coating, waterproofing agent, flame retardant, printing ink additive, etc. It can be prepared by chlorinating polypropylene by solution method, suspension method or solid phase method. Chlorinated polypropylene is a heat-soluble resin obtained by chemical modification of polypropylene as raw material.
(1) This product is white or yellow solid, non-toxic, according to different chlorine content, its melting point is 80-160 ℃, its decomposition temperature is 120-200 ℃, it is soluble in halogenated hydrocarbons, toluene, butyl ester and other solvents. Hardness, abrasion resistance, acid resistance, salt water resistance and aging resistance are all good.
(2) Uses: Chlorinated polypropylene is a thermoplastic resin, it has strong adhesion to polypropylene, and has good adhesion to polyethylene, paper, lead film and other materials, so it is used in ink, paint, adhesive Mixtures and other industries have a wide range of applications.
(1) Chlorinated polypropylene is the main raw material in the production of composite ink for BOPP film.
(2) Chlorinated polypropylene can be used as an adhesive for BOPP film and paper, and can also be used as the main raw material for the production of other adhesives.
(3) Chlorinated polypropylene has good gel-forming properties and gloss, and can be used as a solution coating for polypropylene injection molding.
