Vinyl Resin Provides Protection And Improves Hydrolysis Resistance

Vinyl Ester Resins are internationally recognized as highly corrosion resistant resins.
The standard bisphenol A epoxy vinyl resin is a vinyl resin synthesized by the reaction of methacrylic acid and bisphenol A epoxy resin. It is easily soluble in styrene solution. This type of resin has the following characteristics:
1. The double bonds at both ends of the molecular chain are extremely active, so that the vinyl resin can be cured quickly, and the strength of use can be quickly obtained, and a polymer with high corrosion resistance can be obtained;
2. It is synthesized by methacrylic acid, and the methyl group on the edge of the ester bond can play a protective role and improve the hydrolysis resistance;
3. The resin contains less ester bonds, which is 35-50% less than chemical resistant polyester (bisphenol A-fumaric acid UPR) per mole, which improves the alkali resistance;
4. More secondary hydroxyl groups can improve the wettability and adhesion of glass fibers, and improve the mechanical strength of laminated products;
5. Due to cross-linking only at both ends of the molecule.
The flame retardant vinyl resin is generally synthesized by brominated epoxy resin. Because the resin contains bromine, the flame retardant vinyl resin can be flame retardant while having chemical resistance.
In order to meet the needs of various anti-corrosion engineering construction, flexible vinyl ester resin has been developed. Flexible vinyl ester resin has high adhesion to steel and concrete surfaces. Compared with traditional epoxy vinyl ester resin, its The elongation is higher, the bonding strength is greatly improved, the impact strength is increased by nearly 4 times, the interlayer strength is increased by 20%, and it has unique wear resistance.
①Used for corrosion-resistant lining, caulking material or primer resin, such as primer in the production of integral mortar floor, it can omit the production of FRP isolation layer in domestic construction operations, which can save costs while improving overall performance ;
② Bonding of various materials such as pipe fittings;
③ Combine with Kevlar fiber or other reinforcing materials to make high-strength and fatigue-resistant products, such as sports or military helmets, sailboats, etc.
